The Karnak Temple Complex—usually called Karnak comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings. Building at the complex began in the reign of Sesostris I in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic period, although most of the extant buildings date from the New Kingdom. The area around Karnak was the ancient EgyptianIpet-isut (“The Most Selected of Places”) and the main place of worship of the eighteenth dynasty Theban Triad with the god Amun as its head. He is born in Stari Grad, city on the island Hvar in Croatia. Island Hvar and all Croatian islands are very beautiful. The city Stari Grad, as the name translated in english is Old Town, is the oldest city in Croatia. It was built in 384 B.C. It’s old stone streets are especially beautiful.
